Hey y'all. I just finished L.A. Noire...I know I know, late to the party.
I frikken LOVED this game! It had everything I enjoy; driving, punching, shooting and I loved the crime solving aspect of the game huting for clues, questioning suspects etc....

Are there any other games similar to this one? I am looking at maybe Testament to Sherlock Holmes (something like that) and was wondering if anyone has played it and if it was good.

Also, is Call of Duty hard to play? I'm not great at shooting games, but I'm ok....for example Red Dead Redemption, GTA etc....I don't like games where you constantly have to switch weapons. I'm still pretty much a newbie on video games and I consider myself just above Novice Level

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!

I find Call of Duty hard to play, but I am not great at FPS games and I dislike linear games.

I have no idea what games are like L.A. Noire, I get tired of picking up bottles to look at them pretty quickly so I've never looked into it.

I think Heavy Rain is the closest thing to what LA Noire was.

I probably had more fun just messing around in that game than I have in any other game. But it was still a fun game!

I got bored after a few minutes of trying to brush my teeth and gave up.

Try CSI games or old Police Quest games (if you can find a copy) for pure investigative problem solving. GTA and similar sandbox games provide all the drive and explore options available in LA Noire. I'll admit, LA Noire offers a unique blend of activities, and awesome cinematic scenes. It's hard to beat this game all around. You won't find many games exactly like it.

I was pretty impressed with LA Noire. My fave part was zooming around in those hot bonus cars.

Definitely not for every gamer...but it sure beats the crap out of Mario over and over.
