While I don't a decent number are, generally speaking you are way off. White Americans are no more multi-racial than those Europeans from the Iberian Peninsula who mixed with North Africans, and probably less so.

Hispania is how the romans used to call the iberian península (Modern Spain)

And no spanish would be offended if you refer to them as hispanic or latin. Spain is Hispania, and spaniards are also latin because they speak a latín language. Italians, french, romanian, portuguese, etc are also latin.. All of them caucasians.
