I'm a Red Sox guy myself (born and raised in NH.) But, I hope to catch as many ball games as I can with the Padres. Looking forward to watching them play and experiencing a new stadium other than Fenway, Gillette, and TD Garden

I was in Boston last month and went to my first game at Fenway......Wow. Great park and atmosphere...the strong accents, rickety chairs, fans yelling at the umps...I loved it. Coming from SD, it was a shock to me that the fans actually paid attention to the game.

Ha. Yeah. All very truthful things. We do have our accents (i'll try to leave mine at home haha). We do have our share of old rickety chairs as well as a few new ones. Can't forget the right field lower box and mid box seats that face directly into the outfield so you're always looking left for the game. Not to mention the rich history of the Red Sox and Fenway from Yawkey Way to the Pesky Pole, Green Monster, Ted Williams Home Run seat, John Hancock sign, manually operating scoreboard (no lights for these guys) etc. etc. etc.

I might say I take Fenway for granted having been there so much. But like I said, I'm looking forward to a new stadium for a bit. Anyone have any ticket prices I'd be looking at?

I just pray they win on Monday, I just got tickets for the 4th of July game in SF and I'll be wearing my Padres hat. I really can't stand the Giants and all their bandwagon fans now, so hopefully the Padres step it up and kill the Vagiants.

The Friars did a nice recent job in Fenway: winning the series against an A-list team, showing up Gonzo (sort of), hero's return for 1st base coach stealin' Dave Roberts, playing in the rain (with Chase getting hurt), and returning home in last place. That's baseball.
