I'm considering purchasing a camera here in the next couple of months. One thing that interests me would be using it for astrophotography. In addition to that, I'd like the camera to be able to be decent for every day photography, landscape/nature photos or whatever.
I don't know much about photography as far as the technical aspects. All I know is that I like pretty pictures. I've been reading little bits here and there about astrophotography.
So anyways, can anyone recommend me a camera that is good for astrophotography but would also work well to take on vacation and so on?
Any info about accessories I might need would be appreciated as well.
20Da was discontinued though you might still be able to purchase one. The issue would be that it's not great for normal photography because of the modified low pass filter. You'd have to purchase a special IR filter to block IR and still allow all of the visible light. A doable solution but one that can be a real hassle.
