Yea, she sounds like she's doing just fine.

A lot of people in the state who don't live in, IMO, overly risky areas either end up going through the equivalent of Akbar and Jeff's Insurance Hut (good luck getting any claims paid with them) or Citizen's Insurance, which is the state-run insurer of last resort in Florida.

This is good humor for sensible people. 100k is double the median family income in he country. It higher than the median family income in even the most expensive cities. If you struggle to make it with that salary you are entertaining to the rest of us because that is so far removed from reality.

Not that I disagree with your general premise that he may be wasting money, but 100k is not double the median family income "even the most expensive cities". Take Mclean, VA for instance. As of 2009, the median income for a household in was $156,943, and the median income for a family was $188,682.... Or Winnekta Illinois ($167,458), or South Barrington, IL... or any number of other places like Darien, Ct (146,755).... etc etc etc.

But most would consider Los Angeles as one of the cities considered the "most expensive" and it's median household income is $55,000. Of course the few small burbs will have pockets of much higher incomes. You were taking that posters words a bit too literally.
