Walk Across America (younger, advice, reason, serious)

My name is Dylan.
The main reason I joined, is I'm trying to find someone or as a group to walk across the country with me.
The goal is start next spring.
If anyone has the same dream or desire to seriously do something like this.

I thought about it when I was younger, but I wanted to raise awareness for something that was important to me at the time. I studied the logistics of it and got discouraged.
Is there a reason you want to do this?

I want to find myself.
Break away from society just for awhile.
See america, the actual america, the people, the places.
I'm not ready at 21 to just "settle" for life.
I want to live.

That's why i want to do this.
