I think that helps to keep it quaint. If a major highway went through it there would be a bunch of big box stores, walmart and other not so quaint stuff. Rte 15 runs through Mansfield and that's close enough, thank you.

Yes, it literally is still a story book from the 1950s which is kind of cool!

I love the Laurel Festival and Dickens of a Christmas!

And the Tyoga Country Club is quite nice for the size of the town!

A view from my Treasure Lake (DuBois) house when we got it last Fall. Can't wait for our first Summer in our vacation home!

Basically the same picture with a gorgeous sunset. We had an amazing Summer at the lake and are looking forward to warmer weather already. PA has some gorgeous scenery.

We were so hesitant to invest so much in a vacation property, but the pay off has been more than worth it.

WE used to drive thru Wellsboro on our way up to Worlds End camping....it used to have this neat little store there with the old wood plank floors and there wasn't anything you couldn't find in that store....we loved it and made the stop there just to browse and visit that store....I don't remember the name of it...but its a beautiful town.

it is and always has been for me, so much to see and do...and the beauty of the forests is astounding...I've visited and lived in other states, but for me, PA is not only beautiful but centrally located to other magnificent spots close at hand....
