The law pushed by Mayor Adams would have allowed illegals who resides in NYC for 30 days to be able to vote in municipal elections.

In a 3 to 1 judge vote, the law was struck down.

The biggest take away is from the

Judge Lilian Wan issued a dissenting opinion.

“The majority, by deeming the noncitizen voting law invalid, effectively prohibits municipalities across the state from deciding for themselves the persons who are entitled to a voice in the local electoral process,” she wrote.



Wow, she basically said that by not allowing illegals to vote we aren't giving the municipalities the right be represented in the electoral process.

Can't believe we have a sitting judge who believes that illegals should have the right to be part of the electoral process.

Why should non-citizens be allowed to vote? Even legal immigrants aren't allowed to vote.

NYC non-citizen voting law struck down as unconstitutional

Should have never been heard to begin with.

The I.Q. Bottom has dropped out from under us.
