Reminder: In 2020 They voted to legalize "E-Scooters" citywide

https://council.nyc.gov/press/2020/06/25/1997/

Before scooters were available to all people including criminals, crime primarily stayed within certain neighborhoods as the criminals perpetrating Quality of Life crimes (Strong arm robbery, car break ins, phone thefts, etc) didn't have means to get around quickly.

Years later we now see these types of crimes are city wide and the perps are able to get in and out of neighborhoods quickly and silently on battery operated scooters rarely ever being found again.

Remember to thank your city council

Good. Rob away! These good little Democrat, bail reform, BLM supporting, sanctuary city, illegal migrant loving voters deserve it all.

You now got gangs of illegal immigrants on scooters, stealing from people and assulting them.
I knew this was gonna happen once 6 months passed and they started kicking them out of hotels and shelters. Some could work for cash at local business but instead rather choose the path of crime. And get this some of them are in shelters and hotels with money debit cards with thousands on it and they still stealing from stores and car jacking, and assulting people.
The mayor even has a program to give them free scooters and money to upkeep the scooters.

It doesn't matter they have shelters or not, criminals will be criminals. They have nothing to lose as they are technically not on the record. They have no official form of ID. In the ancient times, criminals will be branded with a symbol that they've committed crimes before. Modern societies treating these savages as human will cause nothing but more despair on its citizens when they don't properly cage these savages.

Just the other day I was nearly side swiped by a moped migrant on a sidewalk in Brooklyn.
No license, no helmet, you get the picture. Total disregard for pedestrians.

I wonder ?
It will be only a matter of time when the City enacts a Scooter Patrol
or I learn to enact the sidearm to protect myself from injury.
