Hello,

A very good attorney in Westchester is helping me buy a coop apartment in Westchester County. He has been doing this for 20+ years in Westchester.

I also need to sell my Manhattan coop shortly after. And I am curious if it would make sense for me to engage the same attorney, or the coops in NYC have some additional, specific complexity that it would be better to hire an attorney in NYC (even if this will cost me several thousands more)?

Thanks

Yes. Most of the laws governing coops are at the state level, and Westchester has a fair number of coops also.
