Citizen App has had multiple reports over the last few months of deer sighted near the Long Island Expressway or the Grand Central Parkway near Little Neck. Has anyone here seen one in that area?
More important is who do you contact to put more of the deer crossing diamond signs? I bet there are none around those parts of the LIE and GCP. Drivers should be aware they are in deer country and any could come out of the woods and onto the highway.
Even the deer are leaving New York................Hahahaha.
To make way for the bears. They have decended from northern parts of New England. It's a matter of time we hear of a bear roaming through the streets of New York City. Who knows, maybe the new congestion tax will keep them away from Mahattan.

Signs make sense if in fact there are deer seen at or on the highway. I find it strange that they would be in a heavily residential area with a lot of street and highway traffic near Little Neck Parkway and not cause more problems. I've seen these reports on Citizen App which I think are from 911 calls and not confirmed and they don't have followup as to the outcome. Maybe somebody is making prank calls or is seeing things that aren't there.
