From Boston Globe: Adam Montgomery, the father of 5-year-old Harmony Montgomery who was killed in 2019, has been charged with her murder, authorities said Monday.

New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella said during a briefing that Adam Montgomery, already jailed on lesser charges in connection with the case, was charged Monday with second-degree murder for “recklessly causing the death of Harmony Montgomery” under circumstances “manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life.”

So glad there will be justice (if there is even such a thing for murdering a 5 year old ().

Too bad NH abolished the death penalty.

I wonder if Kayla flipped on him after her latest re-arrest...maybe she's tired of jail. The AG didn't mention anything about finding the girl's body.

They'd better have some decent evidence, and if it involved finding a body, that would undoubtedly have been made public. If they put him on trial and can't convince a jury that he's guilty, they've blown it forever, because a person can only be tried once for the same crime. Maybe they're hoping to frighten him so that somewhere along the line, he'll say something that'll incriminate him.

Kayla is now discussing a plea deal for the charges she's facing, and "it could have bearing" on the weapons charges against Adam.

Montgomery's sentencing is tomorrow.

"Prosecutors have submitted their sentencing recommendation for Adam Montgomery, asking that he be sentenced to 56 years to life in prison for murdering his 5-year-old daughter, Harmony.

In their sentencing memo, prosecutors asked for a sentence of 45 years to life in prison for the second-degree murder conviction, along with additional time for Montgomery's convictions on second-degree assault, falsifying physical evidence, witness tampering and abuse of a corpse."

the father's arrogant strut into the court was deserving of a decade in jail alone.

Adam Montgomery, 34, was sentenced to 56 years to life in prison Thursday for murdering Harmony Montgomery and other related charges.

Judge Amy Messer said the sentences would be served consecutively to the decades-long sentences he's already serving for other weapons charges.

In the absence of the death penalty, this seems fair.

The AAG offered a sentence reduction if Montgomery told them where Harmony's body is, and he declined to respond.

they offered 10 years off his already long sentence.......he really has nothing to gain by telling them anything since he will likely die behind bars. Cops think he dumped the body parts around Lynn/Saugus so it will likely never be recovered

That little girl deserved better parents/ a better life. I suspect someone will want his life as a "Prison Trophy" and he won't be around too long.
