From Boston Globe: Adam Montgomery, the father of 5-year-old Harmony Montgomery who was killed in 2019, has been charged with her murder, authorities said Monday.
New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella said during a briefing that Adam Montgomery, already jailed on lesser charges in connection with the case, was charged Monday with second-degree murder for “recklessly causing the death of Harmony Montgomery” under circumstances “manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life.”
They'd better have some decent evidence, and if it involved finding a body, that would undoubtedly have been made public. If they put him on trial and can't convince a jury that he's guilty, they've blown it forever, because a person can only be tried once for the same crime. Maybe they're hoping to frighten him so that somewhere along the line, he'll say something that'll incriminate him.
"Prosecutors have submitted their sentencing recommendation for Adam Montgomery, asking that he be sentenced to 56 years to life in prison for murdering his 5-year-old daughter, Harmony.
In their sentencing memo, prosecutors asked for a sentence of 45 years to life in prison for the second-degree murder conviction, along with additional time for Montgomery's convictions on second-degree assault, falsifying physical evidence, witness tampering and abuse of a corpse."
they offered 10 years off his already long sentence.......he really has nothing to gain by telling them anything since he will likely die behind bars. Cops think he dumped the body parts around Lynn/Saugus so it will likely never be recovered
That little girl deserved better parents/ a better life. I suspect someone will want his life as a "Prison Trophy" and he won't be around too long.
Kayla Montgomery released from jail in exchange for testimony against husband.
