I'm very excited for the future of MGW. The city seems very committed to see their airport expand to meet the future demand of the Greater Morgantown Area.

If you build it, they will come.

I wouldn't expect that to happen. Tom Bloom said in the original report that he would be able to make the announcement by the start of May. That time has come and gone, which really indicates only one outcome... there will be others, but it'll take years to get the ball rolling with corporate offices in that area. Furthermore, expect huge job cuts at Mylan if the Israeli firm Teva forces a buyout - both companies do the same exact business. Given the choice between cutting former Mylan employees or their own long term hires, the decision will be obvious as to who gets the axe.

Its to condescendingly tell everyone who lives in West Virginia that he/she has left and no longer leads a sheltered life like everyone who still lives in West Virginia.

Well, then I suppose she should state that in her post, but that is not the purpose of this thread.

Hopefully they can fend off the Teva reprobates that flood the market with cheaply made foreign generics with lax quality controls. My hunch is they feel they can do it since Teva is financially distressed by an expiring major patent which will cause their position to falter significantly.

I'll ask Bloom about the headquarters situation. Sooner or later that place is going to take off in a major way, especially if they can attract a major anchor tenant like Wheeling did with the destination Caballas and their eastern regional distribution facility. I'm wondering how long it will take to get all the ducks in a row for the runway expansion?

That would be a great addition. Apparently, the holdup on announcing developments is in the Governor's office as he is dealing with the usual southern operatives who irrationally fear our prosperity here, but a decision from that office is expected on Monday. It's hard to be optimistic about anything that comes out of that political quagmire in Charleston, which has for many decades inhibited anything positive in our state, but hopefully this time it will be different.

Great... here you are with your periodic dose of negativity. Aren't they missing you at your usual stool over there at McLafferty's or something?

It's amazing how Southern WV is the root cause of most of Morgantown's issues. It's mind boggling really.
