Chicagoisthebest, the subdivision that runs directly west of Alverno, from 43rd Street to 51st Street always reminds me of a Forest Glen subdivision.

If you look at a map, there's a church near 51st Street and Morgan. That's one of the places I teach Tae Kwon Do.

Chicagoisthebest THAT is what I love about that area!

I always felt the same! In nice weather I walk or ride my bicycle in that subdivision when I can't go to the real Sauganash!

Look on a map. I'm by 43rd and Howard. It's very residential. But very close to MY Sauganash!

ManApplet, good evening.

Take away the swimming pools part.

Tonight, in fact, I drove through the subdivisions, both westside and eastside of Alverno.

They really do remind me of the kind of subdivision you'd see in a Forest Glen community.

I'm curious if you asked this in Chicago, any parts of Chicago remind you of Milwaukee.

The area around Rufus King reminds me of Chicago because of the brick bungalows.

There are areas of Racine even that remind me of Chicago. You'll see some of the same house styles found there and not even found in Milwaukee.
