31May - Alberto is a Post-Tropical Low pressure system moving from Michigan into Canada. Still trying to pull moisture all the way from the Caribbean helping scattered showers remain across the Eastern US.

At least 5 deaths blamed on the storm:
1 drowning FL coast
2 by falling tree NC mountains
2 by collapsed building in mudslide NC mountains

-Sustained Tropical Storm force winds (39+mph) occurred along coast between Panama City and St. Marks on Apalachee Bay.
-Peak estimated storm strength was 63mph, pressure 990mb while still over Gulf of Mexico.
-Landfall estimated winds 46mph, pressure 992mb.

Deaths - 18 total ( 8 US, 10 Cuba):
-5 in NC:
--2 WYFF reporters by tree on vehicle
--1 mudslide
--2 landslide & subsequent explosion from gas leak
-3 in VA by flooding
-10 in Cuba by flooding.
