Hi! I'll be moving to the area for a couple of months for a clinical rotation in Linglestown. I would LOVE some suggestions on where to live as I am getting cross eyed with all of the conflicting reviews of the different apartments in the area.

What I'm looking for:
#1 = SAFE (single female that will be living alone and far from home so this is a must!)
#2 = Doable drive (preferable 30 min or less)
#3 = Convenient to grocery stores, pharmacies, etc.

At this point cost and amenities are really on the back burner. I really just want to be somewhere I know is going to be safe and clean! Thanks everyone!!

I live in Hummelstown so I can recommend that area. The apartments I know about are:

Madison at Hershey Heights
The Reserve
The Gardens

All of these are pretty nice, and meet all your other criteria. Plus, there are a lot of medical students/residents in the area because of Hershey Medical/Penn State.

There are some other nicer places on Linglestown Road near Progress Ave, but I'm not sure of their names.

I know folks in Springford and people who have lived at Treeview. They seem ok (same ownership as a couple of, although not as new a, the post #2 suggestions) and would be shorter drive to Linglestown.

I agree with this, you just need to take some time and look at the rentals near Progress Avenue. You will find what you are looking for.
