Elon is ineligible, and Rice has way too much "architect of the Iraq invasion" baggage hanging around her neck.

The post you responded to mentioned Tulsi Gabbard as a VP possibility. She was born in American Samoa. That's a US Territory, but I'm not sure she'd be eligible either. From this article, the fact could certainly be an issue in Congress. https://escholarship.org/uc/item/4nn7x5fw

I like her and her ability to speak in an erudite manner, but had assumed she was born in Hawaii until I Googled it.

Donald Trump Jr.

There's nothing in the Constitution that prevents this. The VP candidate is officially verified as a nominee by his party during the convention.

I don't see Tim Scott doing that and Kristi Noem probably has a brighter political future away from Trump. But it wouldn't shock me if he picked Kari Lake as she is probably far enough down the intelligence scale to actually want the position. The big problem is would the spotlight be big enough for both of them as they each want to be the center of attention.
Yet miles of above Kamala Harris.

Trump likes well know public figures. That is why Dr. Oz, Hershel Walker and Kari Lake got his attention. And he picked so many he saw on TV for his administration. Like John Bolton and Larry Kudlow. And lets not forget Amarosa. I could see Tucker getting it based on that. I could see Kanye West also.

He's smart enough to know he needs to make a smart choice if he wants a chance at winning.

A strong smart woman (biological of course...lol) would be the best look when she takes on Harris in a debate.

I suspect his VP pick will likely be a woman.

Would have to be Don Jr., Ivanka, or Eric.

The VP has to have the same qualifications as the POTUS, and those three are the only ones old enough.
