Most of our mom and pop stores are in South Columbus. Please come south and support these business even if you do live north. Fast Food chains and restaurants have high sanitation ratings, usually 100. They are clean and they are south. Check your Sunday papers. There is less traffic in South Columbus. There are several nice subdivisions south of Exit 5. Aflac the main library and Ft. Benning are points south.
You will not lose no matter where you live in Muscogee County. I am proud of the entire city. We are going from better to best and would like for people who work here to purchase their homes here.

We have excellent medical facilities and anyone with chronic conditions or children should want to live near them. All of our schools are good we just need to pay more attention to our administrators, but this too will change. It will take all of us to do that.

We have an excellent Mayor and City Manager who are working really hard to make this place ideal.

My boss sent his daughter to Brookstone, to protect her from the kids in public school. When she graduated she attended Univ of Ga and married a man who graduated from Carver High. She spends more time in south Columbus with his parents than she does with hers because she found out that everything that she had heard about South Columbus was not true.

School is a place where children learn socialization skills. If they don't learn these skills while they are young. they won't make good supervisors, managers or Ceo, positions where they will have to know how to interact with people of all races and religions and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Besides, the Earth is the Lords and the fullness thereof. It is sad that we are a society that focus on success and once that success has been achieve we spend more time focusing on segrgating ourselves from people who may not have our material wares rather than using that success to motivate others to their full potential, to emphasize morality and to express love for everyone. By the way, God does come south of macon road too.
