There's actually not a lot of homes that meet your criteria (I did a quick search and found 11 currently on the market that meet your criteria), so price will have to determine your locale. Arvada might be a possibility. It'd be within 30 minutes of both Downtown Denver as well as Interlocken/Broomfield, and would have a few homes in your price range, if you can live in an older home. (You won't find many newer homes on quarter-acre lots anyway). Lakewood, Wheat Ridge, Westminster might be other examples of places to find older homes that meet your criteria. Centennial and Aurora might have some homes in your range, but they may be more than 30 minutes from Downtown Denver, although they would be closer to the DTC tech jobs.

I found 4 in Monument Colorado. Just south of Denver. Small town kinda feel w/ lots of trees.

Monument is not 30 min from downtown Denver, however. Broomfield is a possiblity.

Yes I know that.
However, sometimes people are willing to drive a little longer to have the house, land, school district they want, IN the price range they want. I know 3 people right off hand that did that.
