My family is moving to Charlottesville, VA. from California very soon. I am doing as much research as I can, but am starting to get overwhelmed! I have read about Crozet and it sounds like a nice little town but I'm trying to learn more about it. I've read that the schools are good (which is great) and the housing seems reasonable. Can anyone tell me what the town consist of? Shopping, dining, parks, activities for kids etc. or would you recommend another nice area? I'm trying to find an area close to the North West side of Charlottesville. I would like to live in a neighborhood friendly area with parks, children and somewhere safe to go walking or bike riding. We plan on renting short term, just to get familiar with the area, but come time to buy, we are looking for homes below or around the $350-400K range
