I never heard this before. I haven't formally studied Buddhism, but I was exposed to it a bit back in the 1970's and the mid-2000's.
"According to Buddhist philosophy he (Jesus) never left and has been here all along with the six other members of the Brotherhood of Light (7 perfected humans who decided to stay behind rather than move on to 'bliss' trying to help the rest of humanity find the right path).

When they make themselves known to the masses, it's judgement day."

It was on some random website discussing the environment and doomsday.

I doubt nearly 100% that what you write has anything to do with Buddhism.

The Buddha lived 500 years before Jesus, so he wasn't in a position to say anything about him.

I didn't write it, but I know you understand that. I quoted it directly from another site, because it seems like a figment of someone's imagination.

Again, it's something that some new agers came up with about 7 light beings or whatever. If it makes them happy and doesn't hurt anyone it's fine by me.

I was just explaining why you've never heard it before. It's not part of "mainstream" Buddhism, i.e. the historical branches of the tradition.

Buddhism made no such predictions.
Vedas, on the other hand, did mention Buddha, Jesus and Mahomet, as coming prophets. There is one more left to come.
There is oral tradition that Buddha, when he approached the heavenly gates, turned and looked back at the suffering on Earth and refused to leave it, until the last human suffering is over.
I can see, where the OP legend came from.
