We really like these. Trying to source locally is the hard part. Prefer a small (1000') shed roof design. Keep the photos coming !
Yes - I think you need to source them locally... if you're getting an entire house shipped 1,000+ miles, it's not going to be affordable... maybe a few hundred miles at most seems more reasonable.
Bensonwood Homes has been around for awhile and is considered to do top quality construction. They are located near Unity Homes, at the southern VT/NH border - in fact I think they build components for Unity and other modular companies as well as working directly with architects, and I believe these are panelized modular construction. https://bensonwood.com/
Here's some coverage of Bensonwood Homes - from their CEO and at their production facility, by PBS' This Old House. They have impressive logistics and automation.
KBS Builders is in central Maine. I don't think these guys are that fancy with their production processes or the very high standards of energy efficiency. On the other hand, I don't think they will be that expensive to use either, and many people don't want 16-inch thick walls and high-end German tilt-and-turn windows. They do both box-modular and panelized approaches. https://www.kbsbuildersinc.com/residential/
