Lots of good memories about Little Ferry Seaplane base. Earned my rating there. also remember the best food,I think it was called 1/2 Mile House, not sure. Oh those were the days. loved going to the large lakes and just landing out in the middle, having lunch sitting on the pontoons, and swimming right there. nothing like it.I live to far away now.Miss the times.I think Lou Haselbeck owned the base back then.[Hasselbeck] would need to ck my old logbook.

Lou did own the base for years back in the fiftys and early 60's until his untimely death. ( crash in bad weather looking for one of his lost seaplanes on a very bad day for the base. Several planes were damaged or lost that day.
