Greg:

You have made a lot of progress in bringing the CDA Airport to what it is today.

As a young boy back in the 40s and 50s, I treasured the visits with Harold Rhodes when my Uncle Tom Koep would take me to the airport.

As you might know, I retired from my director's job with the Hayden Area Regional Sewer Board last July after over 25 years of elected service. I hope to continue supporting the CDA Airport by working with you, Richard LaFrancis and others in my current position with the Hayden Area Historic Preservation Commission. I remember seeing F-51 Mustangs and P-38s at the airport and watched a B-36 land there in the 1950's. The CDA airport is a community treasure not only from the perspective of commerce but that of our history.
