One of the best pizzas & One of the WORST customer service!

I am proud to say that you have one of the best pizzas in Toronto. However, I am every more proud to say that you have the worst and the rudest customer service people working for Pizza Depot.

Honestly, I love the quality of pizzas and the variations and the Indian touch you give to the pizzas but the customer service makes me think a million times before I order a pizza. Such incident happened 30 mins ago and I hung up the phone and thought of writing to the management of this unprofessional behaviour.

1st Incident Jun 22 2014 : I ordered a veggie pan pizza and I reckon it was the last order of the night. I am pure vegetarian since birth and I get chicken in my pizza. I tried calling the location when I ordered the pizza from but it was already closed, which is understood. I call next day to inform that I ordered a veggie pizza and I got chicken in it, the person on the phone did not want to accept that it was a mistake. I asked the person if you think I was lying and the reply was "How would I know if you are telling me the truth of lying?" As you might know a customer is the king of the market. If you don't treat them well, they go to your competitors. There are more than 10 other pizza stores I can order pizzas from. She told me "No matter what your reasoning is, there is no way we know if you are lying or not but we will give you another pizza but it won't be a pan pizza." This really made me angry and I told her I do not want a free pizza of yours but I will make sure I never order from this place again.

2nd Incident Sep 01 2014: I again forget what had happened before and now order again. Everything went well over the call, however I did not get the pizza as I wanted. I requested bbq sauce on the base mixed with the pizza sauce for which they charged me 70c extra which I didn't mind at all. I asked to put coriander on the pizza, I didn't that get that either.I thought not to call again coz people might think I have problems every time and I didn't call.

3rd Incident Sep 02 2014: My friend asks me to order a pizza for him so I call and come across this rudest lady I have ever talked to. I started placing my order and told them to mix the bbq sauce with the pizza sauce and I don't mind if you charge 70c extra. So I told her please make sure you mix the bbq sauce in the base with pizza sauce as I didn't get it on my yesterday's order. She said "It is impossible that you didn't get the bbq sauce, we make it the right way every single time. She also said, I had seen the lady mixing the pizza sauce with bbq sauce. However, maybe you might not know coz I saw it" I said, Mam I know the taste of BBQ how it tastes, I don't have to see it to believe it. I just said that I don't think there was BBQ sauce on the pizza yesterday and I dont want the same issue to be repeated again as we like the pizza with bbq sauce. I also told her, now that you are so sure that you don't make mistakes, I ordered something else on the pizza too which we didn't get and I asked her if she knew what was missing coz she was so sure that there was bbq sauce on my pizza. She replied, I don't know what was missing on the pizza. I said there was no coriander on the pizza and her reply was "That is because we didn't have coriander yesterday". I simply asked her, why didnt you tell me when I was placing the order and she had nothing to say.

I told her, this is not the way you should talk to customers, I work in the food business too and I know how things work, I was just trying to explain what happened with me and I didn't want anything for it but just for you to make the pizza right this time.

Rather than saying, I totally agree and I will make sure that the pizza is made right. She didn't want to even listen to the issue. I decided not to order the pizza and I also decided to tell this incident to as many people as I can as this is not the first time that has happened to me.

I ordered the pizza from a different pizza chain and I do not regret it at all.
