- Observed cutting boards in back storage area to have deep abrasions and discoloration. When cutting boards become damaged, repair or replace them to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing.
- Observed unpainted, untreated wood pallets used to store food in the refrigerator and freezers. Unpainted, untreated wood is absorbent and not easily cleanable. Paint, seal, or replace to allow for proper cleaning and prevent contamination.
- There was only dish soap available at hand sink located in the employee dining area. All handwashing sinks must be provided with hand soap, hand drying device, and waste bin.
- Observed build up of debris on floors throughout facility, especially: by back exit door, beneath shelving in the aisles, and behind the pallets in the aisles. Clean as routinely as necessary.
- Observed damaged floor, such as by the walk-in freezer drain and large cracks in the concrete, and peeling sealant on the floor in the back storage area. Repair to allow for proper cleaning. Observed cardboard stored on the ground underneath a pallet in the walk in meat cooler. Cardboard is absorbent and not easily cleanable, remove the cardboard.
- Observed peeling/chipping paint and damaged walls in the walk-in coolers/freezers. Repair to allow for proper cleaning.
- Observed lawn mower stored near food. Move lawn mower to storage area away from all food as it is attracting the build up of debris.
