  • Observed cutting boards in back storage area to have deep abrasions and discoloration. When cutting boards become damaged, repair or replace them to allow for proper cleaning and sanitizing.
  • Observed unpainted, untreated wood pallets used to store food in the refrigerator and freezers. Unpainted, untreated wood is absorbent and not easily cleanable. Paint, seal, or replace to allow for proper cleaning and prevent contamination.
  • There was only dish soap available at hand sink located in the employee dining area. All handwashing sinks must be provided with hand soap, hand drying device, and waste bin.
  • Observed build up of debris on floors throughout facility, especially: by back exit door, beneath shelving in the aisles, and behind the pallets in the aisles. Clean as routinely as necessary.
  • Observed damaged floor, such as by the walk-in freezer drain and large cracks in the concrete, and peeling sealant on the floor in the back storage area. Repair to allow for proper cleaning. Observed cardboard stored on the ground underneath a pallet in the walk in meat cooler. Cardboard is absorbent and not easily cleanable, remove the cardboard.
  • Observed peeling/chipping paint and damaged walls in the walk-in coolers/freezers. Repair to allow for proper cleaning.
  • Observed lawn mower stored near food. Move lawn mower to storage area away from all food as it is attracting the build up of debris.

  • Observed damaged handle bar to milk cooler. Repair or replace handle bar. Observed damaged gaskets to milk cooler door and cooler door by waffles. Replace all damaged gaskets.

  • The faucet in the women's bathroom moves independently of the sink when the handle is moved. The faucet produces hot water and does not leak out of the bottom when turned on. Repair the faucet.
  • Floor wax and dust build up on the floors especially under the shelves near feet. Clean the floors.

  • The produce walk in cooler and meat island coolers do not have thermometers. Provide conspicuous thermometers for monitoring correct temperatures.
  • The cutting board that is attached to the packaging machine in the produce prep area has deep cuts and the fabric covering it is ripped. Repair or replace the board.
  • Broken shelf in the Pepsi soda cooler near the cash registers.
  • There is dust build up on the majority of the canned products. Dust and food debris in the meat island coolers. Wash, rinse, and sanitize these and all non-food contact surfaces.
  • The entire faucet for the hand sink in the women's restroom moves independently of the sink when it is turned on.
  • Cardboard used as a floor mat in the meat cutting area. Cardboard is not easily cleanable and cannot be used as a floor mat. Remove cardboard.
  • Dust and packaged products on the floors under shelves. Build up of dust especially around the feet under the shelves. Clean the floors and have staff check under shelves for fallen products.
  • Observed mop stored in bucket with water in the bottom. Store the mop so it can air dry.
