- Observed sliced cheese stored in top/bottom refrigerator near bun/burger oven without date label. Per employee, he was not sure when the cheese was placed in cooler but they are required to provide date labeling. Employee discarded cheese during inspection. All potentially hazardous foods opened and removed form original packaging must be labeled with 7-day date labeling.
- Observed the following food contact surfaces in need of repair: gap forming along bottom of top door of the fry freezer and broken handle of cooler located in the cash register area. Repair.
- Observed the following non-food contact surfaces in need of repair: paint beginning to peel on shelving underneath the cash registers. Repair, repaint, reseal, or replace to allow for proper cleaning.
- Observed date label stickers and remnants of stickers on outside of food containers that had been washed, rinsed, and sanitized in the 3 compartment sink. Ensure that employees are properly removing the stickers before wash, rinse, and sanitizing to ensure effective cleaning.
- Observed build up on the handles of the coolers in the cashier area, build up of debris and food debris inside of the beverage-air cooler. Clean as routinely as necessary.
- Observed the following non-food contact surfaces in need of cleaning: motors/equipment below prep line, door seal of fry freezer, outside of Bodgett ovens. Clean as routinely as necessary.
- Observed dumpster open during inspection. Dumpsters must be covered when not in use.
- Observed back door of facility to have broken self-closing device, allowing the door to remain open without purposing closing. Observed exit door at drive thru window to not close completely. Repair these doors by 1/15/16 to deny pest entrance into the facility.
- Observed build up of debris underneath equipment throughout the facility, especially beneath the prep lines, bodgett ovens, under shelving in dry storage, and in front of both walk-in coolers/freezers. Clean as routinely as necessary.
- Observed the following damage to the floors: broken floor tiles around floor drain near 3-compartment sink, damaged floor of walk-in freezer, and damaged floor coving throughout facility. Repair to ensure proper cleaning.
- Observed damaged ceiling tiles throughout dry storage area. Repair all ceiling tiles that are removed, offset, or damaged.
