- Ensure good hygienic practices. Hand sink should be used for hand washing only. Establishment is washing utensils at handwash sink. Employees are washing hands at mopsink. Employees must only wash hands at designated handwash station and must discontinue use of handsink to wash utensils. Utensils must be washed at 3 compartment sink.
- Hand wash facility should be adequare and acessible. Handwash station is blocked by utensils, large plastic container. Handwashing facility must be fully accessible at all times for employee use. There can be no barriers and this sink can be used for handwashing only.
- No sanitization. Establishment is using handwash station to wash utensils. Utensils must be washed at 3 compartment sink using proper wash, rinse and sanitization steps.
- Please ensure wastewater plumbing system is installed according to code. An air gap between the ice machine drain pipe and the flood level rim of the floor drain shall be at least twice the diameter of the drain pipe and may not be less than 1 inch. Found that air-gap was not present at ice machine drain point. Ensure this item is corrected to avoid reinspection fees.
- Ensure hand wash facility is supplied with soap and paper towels. Hand sink did not have paper towels.
- Ensure hand wash facility is in working order. During inspection hot and cold water handles were broken and cold not provide hot and cold running water.
