When asked, PIC said pest control was due to come out next week. Conditions cannot wait. Ensure pest control company visits establishment to spray for bugs as soon as possible.
- Hand sink used to hold drinks and cups. Ensure hand sink is used for hand washing only.
- Observed employee wash hands in 3 compartment sink. Ensure hands are washed in hand sinks only.
- Bare hand contact observed with ready to eat vegetables used with dumplings. No cooking step (kill step) observed with vegetables handled with bare hands. Employee later corrected herself and started using gloves. Ensure safeguards are used when working with ready to eat foods and ingredients if no further cooking will be done for dish.
- Ice scoop observed on top of ice machine resting in debris and dust. Ensure ice scoop is washed, rinsed, and sanitized before using again. Keep ice scoop in protective bin that is smooth, easily cleanable, nonabsorbent, and durable or in ice machine with handle sticking up.
