  • Observed mold inside the back ice machine. Inside of ice machine needs to be cleaned and sanitized.
  • Observed several dead roaches, young & adult, throughout establishment. Presence of insects need to be minimized.
  • Ice machine in front area has duct tape along the door and on the inside. Duct tape can not be used. All materials need to be smooth, easy cleanable and non-absorbant.

  • Front restrooms did not have hot water at time of inspection, water in both restrooms reached 65F degrees. Hands sinks must reach a minimum of 100F degees.
  • Ice machine had pooling water below it. Leak must be identified and sealed to prevent water leaking onto floor below.

  • Observed cooked potentially hazardous foods (phf) stored in the walk in cooler and refrigerator without use by dates. All prepared phf must have a use by date label of 7 days if kept longer than 24 hours, the date prepared being day 1.
  • Establishment did not have hot water for the mop sink or any of the restrooms. Owner called a plumber at time of inspection and was corrected on site.
  • Womens restroom and sink in kitchen did not have paper towels. Ensure that all hand sinks are supplied with soap and paper towels.
  • Observed gnats around the mop sink and ice machine in kitchen. The presence of pests should be minimized by any effective means. Recommend cleaning up standing water in both areas to help minimize gnat infestation.
  • Both ice machines have an accumulation of black mold along the top of the inside. Machines need to be cleaned and sanitized properly to removed mold build up. Ice machine in the 2nd bar area had ice contaminated with mold, that ice must be discarded. Inside of walk in cooler had mold build up on the walls and ceiling. Walls and ceiling must be scrubbled clean and sanitized. Shelving in walk in also needs to be cleaned. All food contact surfaces must be clean.
  • Food Inspection Report was not posted in public view. The most current inspection report must be posted in public view.

My husband and I and our family enjoyed ourselves and was very happy to decorate and have my reception there. It was rainy that day and we were glad to have a place that was all indoors. As a big family we really liked having the room to fit a lot of people in the hall. The judge that married us was Judge Zaragoza and he married my nieces as well. After 27 years, I'd even like to have our 28th wedding anniversary party there as well. I'd definitely recommend someone to go to The Royal Palace as well and create good memories like we did.
