- 229.163 (h) (9) contaminate hands. Employee did not wash hands before donning gloves for working with food. Employee was cleaning the handsink with contaminated gloves then did not washhands nor put on new gloves before handling ready to eat food.
- Employee was wearing gloves and used a wet rag to wipe down the handsink then proceeded to handle food without changing gloves. Cross contamination occurred when employee proceeded to handling ready to eat food.
- In accordance to the Texas Food Establishment Regulation, employee handwash sinks shall be equipped with a mixed hot/cold valve so that employees can wash there hands to at least 100F water temperature. Currently the establishments has one hot water valve that reaches to 138F.
