The manager, Kathie, has provided a sign on the side of the cooler which states the following: "Prepackaged retail food is prepared at OSF Hospital Cafe Alternatives. If needing further info (address of processor, net contents of the package, list of ingredients in the order of their predominance by weight and a list of any artificial color, artificial flavor or preservative, please ask." Inspection conducted as a result of a fire call from the Peoria Fire Department regarding OSF Market Place at the Riverplex. According to Riverplex Manager, Tim, at approximately 10am on 6/7/14 a fire began in the maintenance laundry room located on the second floor of the Riverplex. The fire is believed to have been caused by lint in the dryer trap. An ABC fire extinguisher was applied and flames were suppressed. The sprinkler system did not activate. The fire department evacuated the building and doors to the Market place were closed for an hour. At the time of inspection no appearance of smoke or smoke smell was present in the OSF location. Currently, no immediate health hazards are present. Peoria Fire Department not was present during this inspection.
