Owner has taken a CFSSM course. The exterior temperature gauge on the walk in cooler is broken. Another thermometer is located within the unit. Employees are wiping down surfaces with windex to remove construction debris. WINDEX IS NOT A SANITIZER. WINDEX LEAVES A TOXIC RESIDUE ON SURFACES AND IS NOT APPROPRIATE FOR FOOD CONTACT SURFACES. All food contact surfaces must be cleaned and sanitized with an approved sanitizer before placed into use. Establishment has been given final approval to operate under the guidelines of Chapter 10, Food Safety, of the Peoria County Code. $150 cash has been paid for the 2015 license fee. The 2016 license fee in the amount of $350 is still owed. This fee must be paid before December 31, 2015.
