Peoria Parochial Soccer Association is operating the stand under the Peoria Park District's food license.  The League is only selling prepackaged non potentially hazardous foods and popcorn.. The group is not using the fountain soda machine.

They will be using bleach as a sanitizer and the ratio for the sink is a minimum 50 ppm.

    Boxes of pretzels and chips sitting directly on floor.
    Containers of food shall be stored a minimum of six inches above the floor or on easily moveable dollies, racks or pallets to protect the food from splash and other contamination, and to permit easy cleaning of the storage area

Facility operates only limited hours and days during the Spring and Summer.

Due to the serving of cheese sauce the facility risk is being changed to a medium.

    Single use drink cup being used as scoop for ice and then given to customer.
    Ice for use by the consumer shall be dispensed by:  scoops, tongs, or other ice-dispensing utensils
  • Food contact surfaces of equipment and utensils clean
    The inside of the Gehls cheese dispensing unit is soiled with dried on cheese.
    The food-contact surfaces of all  equipment shall be kept free of encrusted grease deposits and other accumulated soil.
  • No Certified Manager Present
    Due to the change in risk, a certified food handler must be on staff for this site.
