Medical foundations and associations are abundant as are alternative medicine practitioners. Meanwhile the University of Wisconsin–Madison’s medical, nursing, and pharmacy schools plus the groundbreaking research done in the University Hospital and on campus bring the amount and quality of care options to a level unexpected in a community of Madison’s modest size.
