Description: One of a trio of hotels across the street from St. Francis Hospital, this all-suites property is a good value, especially on weekends. The 126-unit hotel, built in 1997, has a small tiled lobby that opens onto a breakfast room, with plenty of tables and chairs, where guests get a free deluxe continental breakfast. Nestled in next to the front desk is a small, modern business center. Other amenities include a small but cheerful fitness center, a good-size outdoor pool, and guest laundry facilities. All rooms have a tiny kitchen, complete with a minifridge stocked with snacks; a microwave; dishes; a 42-inch, HD TV with VCR; sleeper sofa; and the usual amenities. Park Place Centre shopping center is just to the east, and Poplar Avenue is just a block or so north.

Description: This 146-room hotel caters to a corporate clientele during the week and to soccer teams, groups, and families on the weekends, when rates drop by as much as $30. Attractive even before being redone in 2005, the lobby has plenty of private sitting areas, and the Courtyard Café serves a breakfast buffet. Just beyond and accessible from the lobby is the chain’s signature courtyard, with a small swimming pool and a gazebo. There’s also a whirlpool spa, guest laundry facilities, and a small fitness center. The spacious guest rooms face either the courtyard or outside. You’ll find the hotel on the corner of Park, just across Primacy from St. Francis Hospital, and just a block from Park Place Centre shopping center and its restaurants and shops.
