Description: Locally and regionally famous cowboy poets tell their tales and play their music in this late September event. It’s designed to pay tribute to both Badger Clark, South Dakota’s “Poet Laureate,” and the art of cowboy poetry. In addition to the performances, there are symposiums, displays of western gear, jam sessions, open sessions where amateur poets can give tale telling a try, and more cowboy boots in the audience than you can shake a stick at.
