In Aug 2005 the McBride Clinic opened the McBride Clinic Orthopedic Hospital, a state-of-the-art orthopedic facility providing a full range of orthopedic surgical services, physical and occupational therapy, and a level IV emergency room that is open 24 hours, 365 days a year.Licensed as an acute-care hospital, the McBride Clinic Orthopedic Hospital has 64 acute care beds, 14 rehabilitation beds, and 29 physicians, specializing in orthopedics, rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, sports medicine, occupational health, and podiatry. It also has a Radiology Department, a laboratory, a pharmacy, and a dietary department with a cafeteria. Since its first year of eligibility in 2008, McBride Clinic Orthopedic Hospital has received the Specialty Excellence Award for Overall Orthopedics twice from HealthGrades, a leading independent health-care company. McBride also has ranked number one in Oklahoma two years in a row for overall orthopedic services. In 2009, McBride Clinic Orthopedic Hospital received five-star ratings in overall orthopedic services, joint replacement, total knee replacement, total hip replacement, hip fracture repair, spine surgery, and back and neck surgery.
