Description: If you are interested in cars, this is the event for you. The Leake Auction Company has been coming to Oklahoma City and holding this auction since 1984. Leake Auction was established in 1964 as one of the first car auctions in the country. More than 40 years later, the auction company has sold over 30,000 cars. People who come to this event are impressed with the size of this auction. In two days, approximately 400 cars are sold. The event features two auction rings and a large variety of cars from 1930 Lincolns to a 2009 Shelby. The 2008 show resulted in total sales of $4.2 million and total bids of $7.1 million. The top-selling car was the 1959 Cadillac Series 62 and it sold for $216,000.Each year about 2,000 people attend this two-day event held at the Cox Pavilion at the Oklahoma City Fairgrounds. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children and may be purchased at the gate
