Description: First held in Feb 1985, An Affair of the Heart will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2010. It is an Oklahoma tradition and people travel from across the United States to attend. Annual attendance is between 40,000 to 50,000 people. Exhibitors come from 25 states and occupy seven large buildings at the State Fair Park in Feb and Oct.Vendors at the event offer a wide selection of items for sale, including arts, crafts, antiques, collectibles, furniture, decorative items, jewelry, and clothing. If shopping makes you hungry, there are food vendors available selling everything from strudel to strawberries Newport. Parking is free and trolleys are available to transport guests to and from the parking areas.There is a one-time admission fee of $6, good for all three days of the show. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the An Affair of the Heart office in Oklahoma City. Children 12 and under are admitted free.
