The 1920s-era building sits on the edge of Duke campus in the stately Trinity Park neighborhood. The inn offers guests free bicycles to explore the area. Its 17 rooms each have private bathrooms and plasma TVs with digital cable, and breakfast is included in the rate. Turndown service includes gourmet locally made chocolates and port. The parlor includes a bar that serves nightcaps. The inn has an elevator and is wheelchair accessible. Its owners completed the recent renovation with an eye toward energy efficiency and conservation. The landscaping includes drought resistant plants and pervious concrete, which helps eliminate some of the rainwater runoff on the property.
