Description: CORP, a division of the St. Louis County government, provides quality service to county residents age 60 and older and targets the primary needs of older adults through a variety of programs and services. In addition to assistance with transportation needs, tax preparation, and home care and repair, CORP provides area seniors with home visits/telephone reassurance, legal assistance, computer classes, and volunteer opportunities. The list of programs also includes several projects that highlight active aging. Broadway Fantasies is a song-and-dance revue highlighting the musical talents of some of the area’s older adults. Seniors can also participate in a number of “lower-profile” activities, such as computer clubs, bowling leagues, and various special-interest clubs.
