Description: Half zoo, half aquarium, the ZooQuarium has displays and exhibits of all things native to our area. But there’s so much more. One large room houses tanks of local pond and sea-life exhibits. Outside there is a petting zoo with llamas and sheep. The ZooQuarium is open daily from mid-Apr through Sept. Call or go online for hours in the offseason. Admission is $10 for visitors ages 10 and older and $7 for children ages 2 to 9 (see our Kidstuff chapter for more information).
