Description: The Cultural Center of Cape Cod opened its doors at the former headquarters of the Bass River Savings Bank in 2007. Since then the building has hosted artists, musicians, dancing, and any other form of creative outlet one could imagine. It is an elegant venue for everything from weddings to artist receptions to forums on important issues of the day such as homelessness. It is centrally located in South Yarmouth, where town officials have pushed for more of a village center feeling. Call or go online for a schedule.

Description: This two-course attraction even has a pirate ship in a fake pond, surrounded by waterfalls and cliffs. Kids can win fun prizes in keeping with the theme, such as pirate eye patches, tattoos, and flags. Pirate’s Cove is open daily from mid-Apr through Oct. Admission is $7.95 per course ($6.95 for ages 12 and younger). In the summer, Pirate’s Cove is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.; in the fall and spring it’s usually open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Description: With an over-the-top pirate theme, this is the most elaborate of the Cape’s many minigolf courses. And because one is never enough, there are two 18-hole courses here, both with lots of water features and trick shots that make minigolfing such a blast.
