The turkey walnut wrap followed by a slice of Italian Cream Cake seems like a piece of heaven. While waiting for your bowl of soup or sandwich, look at all the wonderful cakes and cookies; surely you know someone who deserves a special treat? And do not wait until Mardi Gras to order a King Cake, a circular, donutlike confection covered in icing with green, yellow, and purple sprinkles, designed to feed several people. Be warned: if your piece contains a small plastic baby, you are obligated (by tradition) to purchase the next cake. The bakery is open Mon through Sat, 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
