Description: Opened in early 2008, the Twelve Centennial Park in Downtown Atlanta is a “sister” to the Twelve Atlantic Station in Midtown, which opened in 2005. Like its older sibling, the Centennial Park property is a hybrid condo/hotel. The two 39-story towers, flanked by a 20-story tower, include 517 residences and a 103-suite hotel, with floor-to-ceiling windows, large balconies, a fitness center, swimming pools, high-speed Internet access, clubrooms, upscale restaurants, bars, and retail shops. Description: The amazing John Portman–designed Peachtree Plaza opened in 1976 and for years was the tallest hotel in the world (it’s still the tallest hotel in the United States).
