2. Boomers

City: Irvine, CA
Category: Parks & Recreation
Telephone: (949) 559-8341
Address: 3405 Michelson Dr.

Description: Located in Irvine and visible from the freeway, this mini golf course has a pair of courses with all the usual suspects: windmills, water traps, clown’s mouth, etc. It can get rather busy on the weekend as golfers queue up at the various holes, so weekdays or weekday evenings are recommended. There are also an arcade, batting cages, bumper boats, laser tag, and soft play areas, plus a rock wall, gravity games, and a McDonald’s on the premises. Visit the Web site, which usually has printable coupons, for additional savings. The indoor arcade has a lot of games for all ages and most dispense tickets, depending on how you score, which are redeemable for prizes.
