Montreal at 60, and below Austin, Vancouver, SD, Orlando, Miami, and Vegas (??????) is weird.

Just another list full of subjective opinions. All good to ignore.

How do Baltimore, NOLA, and Philly even make the list?

I agree with the sentiment in general, but Vancouver is fairly consistently in the top-10 of most 'livable' global cities list, so not surprised to see them ahead of Montreal (though I agree Montreal is a gem of a city). San Jose is......up there.

Montreal's rankings have dipped across the board ever since we shut down two years in a row from covid. There's also a Canadian bias in these polls since Canada's rep has taken a hit.

In the end, these are not meaningful, everyone I know would put Montreal in the top 5 for N.A and over most of these cities. And that's not me being biased, we're building a city for people, not for the elites.

Hmm.

Austin higher than Vancouver, Houston, Philadelphia and Montreal?

Who compiled this list? A recently graduated binge drinker who now works in tech? LOL

Why do people think Florida is even habitable?

Stick to your swamp bubble, okay?

You haven’t traveled a lot if you think any of those cities a “bottom of the barrel” on global scale.
