Good point, although, just as an FYI, I think you'd be hard pressed to find people referring to themselves as "Akan" in regular conversation. Instead, you're more likely to hear "Ashanti," "Fante," "Brong," "Ahafo," etc., all groups which fall under the Akan umbrella.
