I swear I don't know what's wrong with the womn at my job. Crying and taking a leave of absence because someone else received the job she always wanted. She will probably end up being let go for this stupid behavior. In this economy with the job market the way it is she is dumb enough to get emotional over something like this.

She has bee with this job for 2 years and now will throw all of that away because of this? And she wouldn't be able to use the job as a reference. So many stupid people in this world.

You should feel pity for them. Where is your compassion? Maybe she needed the money because she needs to help pay for her mother's cancer treatment. Her car payments could be over-due. She could be going through depression. Have an open mind. There is more to the story than someone being petty and selfish.

It's better to be mad and still employed where you can learn from the person who was promoted than be mad and unemployed. I plan to learn from the guy myself

How and what is it your business knowing that she took a leave of absence?

Good God. Get over yourself. You're no better than she is because you think you're tough.

LOL, same thing happened at my job. Two supervisors were gunning for one management position. Company made announcement in a big meeting and apparently the woman who didn't get it had a fit, was in a shock and had to take a leave of absence. I heard the look on her face was priceless. Several months later she quit. Nothing could go her way.
